KIDS WORKSHOPS
Hi, thanks for taking the time to visit the community input page for our Kids Workshops!
If you're here you probably already know all about our plan to put on free workshops for kids in the local community. We've had a fantastic response so far, so thank you to everyone that's shown interest - it's been overwhelming! Happily we've been working behind the scenes to get ready to put these on, and we're at the point where we would hugely benefit from community feedback to iron out the details.
To that end we've put together a quick form to garner information on what would best work for everyone. It covers aspects like workshop length, preferred day of the week, and child age range (so that we can get an idea of which age group would benefit from going first). Don't worry, regardless of which age group your child falls into, we'll be alternating between the age groups in 5 week blocks! Our hope is to enable as many people as possible to attend over time, so hopefully no one misses out.
We want to make these workshops into a great opportunity for budding filmmakers to experience a fun introduction to filmmaking, in a supportive and engaging environment. The best way to make that happen is to get your feedback - to that end the form includes an 'Additional Comments' section. We'd love to hear your ideas and comments. If you have any more specific queries, feel free to contact us here.
We're also keen to work with local schools, as while the workshop groups will be relatively small (around 6-8 depending on age group) there remains the possibility for us to provide workshop 'day trips' for local schools. So if you think that might be of interest, please don't hesitate to share this form with any who may be interested.
