Our free workshops are one of our ways of giving back to the local community and are a great opportunity for budding filmmakers to experience the fun of filmmaking in an encouraging and supportive environment. Our team bring real professional industry experience to the table, as well as background of teaching experience with high end film schools and all of our workshop leaders have PVG certificates from Disclosure Scotland for your peace of mind.
At our workshops your child will get access to a wide range of filmmaking equipment, from getting to use lights and cameras, to riding on camera dollys and, using our screening facilities, kids will be able to watch the footage they’ve shot back on the big screen! We’ll also show your kids how to make the most of the equipment they have including shooting on mobile phones - the best camera is the one you have to hand after all!
KIDS WORKSHOPS
We run our workshops in weekly groups on Wednesday evenings starting at 7pm. Each session lasts for 2 hours, finishing at 9pm, and the workshops run in 5 week blocks at which point we reset and start again with a new group (alternating age groups).
The current booking block is for the 12-15 age bracket, and will run from the 28th May - 25th June.

Please note: there are very limited spaces per block of workshops, so please only apply if your child can attend. If in doubt please leave blocks available for others.
